Sue has undergone training in Australia organised by Pat Ogden's Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute in the United States.
 
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a body orientated psychotherapy that works on the sensiorimotor aspects of the individual to access and reduce the effects of trauma.  
 
Sue uses this training to help clients who have experienced trauma including Adults Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, PTSD and those with attachment related traumas, to help them integrate their experience with the goal of living with less overwhelming emotional and somatic arousal.
 
 
Sue is endorsed as an ASCA (Adult Surviving Childhood Sexual Abuse) Health Professional.
 
 
Sue Hawkins is a registered member of Adult Survivors of Childhood (ASCA)
